Win tickets for Mobi Dixon live
ALGOA FM is bringing popular national DJ Mobi Dixon to Port Elizabeth for his first live performance in the city. Mobi Dixon will be at McArthur Pools at the main beachfront on Friday, where he will be presenting an exhilarating evening of deep house music.
Mobi specialises in dance, electronica and deep house, and his hit song City Rains is currently number one on MTV Base.
He also has collaborations with big national acts like Mi Casa, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Black Coffee.
“We organised Algoa Live in March and now we’re keeping up the pace by responding to PE’s call for more live acts of the same calibre,” Algoa FM managing director Dave Tiltmann said.
“Mobi got our attention after attending the Chivas Regal Music Venture hosted in East London a few weeks ago.”
Partygoers are asked to dress to impress for the exclusive event that has been themed “Black and White Affair”.
Mobi Dixon will be collaborating with local DJs, including House Natives, and Algoa FM's KayCee Rossouw and Vinny Nogemane.
Tickets are available from Computicket and will also be sold at Cubana at R100 for general entry and R200 for VIP entry to Havana Blu.
