KEN PIERRE Joubert, your comments in respect of judges and the law is typical of the “legal ignoramus” that has come to the fore in modern day SA. In an appeal counsel is obliged to “chastise” the decision he/she is appealing against. The appeal cannot be argued outside the “chastising” set out in the notice of appeal. What are you suggesting – a ban against appeals? Possibly that no matter how poor a magistrate’s judgment is that no one be entitled to appeal? Once again if you don’t know anything about the law, as you clearly don’t, please try to research or, as Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses would say, “shut it”. Not everyone is guilty.

ATTEMPTED MURDER VICTIM I AGREE with Denise. PE has become one big rubbish dump! The trash that lies around for weeks, particularly in the Westbourne Road, Eastbourne Road and Albany Road area is a disgrace! Clevedon Road gets a cleanup reasonably regularly (municipal offices there), but the surrounding areas seem to be left out!
