Sunlight Serving up a little sunshine

-

When it comes to spreading a little sunshine amongst those less fortunate, Sunlight Dishwashing Liquid knows how to do it in a meaningful way. This September, Sunlight Dishwashing Liquid will be serving up a little sunshine in Port Elizabeth, East London and Mthatha by dishing up 30 000 plates of hot and hearty food to those in need. Last Thursday 3 September, Sunlight stopped off at St Augustine’s Anglican Church in Walmer’s Gqebera Township and fed over 1 500 people. “We wanted to prove that just one bottle of Sunlight Dishwashing Liquid really does wash at least 30 000 plates but we wanted to do it in a beneficial way, in communities that need it most. The concept we are rolling out is to serve a tasty meal of chicken, rice and gravy to 30 000 people and then wash each and every plate using just one bottle of Sunlight,” explains Sunlight marketer Kgomotso More. The Sunlight Dishwashing Liquid road trip goes from Port Elizabeth to East London and ends in Mthatha where they will have fed 30 000 South Africans living below the bread line and, of course, washed all their 30 000 plates with just a single bottle of Sunlight Dishwashing liquid - showing that with this brand, a little really does go a long way. “A key driver for us at Unilever is doing well by doing good. With our Sunlight 30 000 plates challenge, we are thrilled to be making a small but important difference to the quality of people’s lives in the Eastern Cape and Coastal areas by serving up a delicious and warm meal to those in need this time of year.”
