COMIC-CON CONVENTION
PORT Elizabeth’s first Comic-Con style convention is at 5pm today and all day tomorrow at NMMU South Campus, with gaming tournaments, demonstrations and exhibitions. FUN FAIR
ADOLPH Schauder Primary in Schauderville will host its annual Fun Fair today from 5pm to 9pm and tomorrow from 9am to 4pm to generate funds for the school. The festival will include music, celebrity appearances, food stalls and other activities. Gino Soul and The Stone Sisters will sing and De Ja Vu will dance at the festival. A fun run will also take place, starting from the Moore Dyke sports grounds. The festival highlight will be a celebrity appearance by Vinette Ebrahim, aka Chamaine from

SYMPHONY CONCERT
THE NMMU Department of music presents a wind symphony concert with French musician Paul Richard (saxophone), Miranda Ncwane (vocals) and Gareth Williams as conductor at Kingswood College Chapel in Grahamstown tomorrow at 4pm. Other members of the wind symphony will also perform. Cost is R60 (R40 for students and pensioners). Tickets are at the door.
HISTORICAL OUTING

THE Baakens Valley Preservation Trust will have a alien hack to remove invasive vegetation from the Baakens Valley and a fundraiser for Grace Church tomorrow from 9am to noon at the Baakens Trails signboard. The area where alien plants will be removed is behind Aurora. The Grace Church team will sell wors rolls and Sunridge Superspar will donate a free doughnut with each wors roll purchase.
