Mayoral Cup clashes take centre stage
THE PE Football Association SCORE premier league programme will be put on hold this weekend as all the teams will be competing in the Mayoral Cup competition.
All of the matches will be played this evening.
In a preliminary round game, Highbury and St George’s Dragons clash at the Union field. The winners will play NMB Municipality on Sunday.
Premier league champions NMMU Madibaz have a score to settle when they play PE Defence at the south campus.
Defence shocked the students last month when they beat them 4-1, a defeat that could prove costly as Madibaz trail Callies in the league race.
The log-leaders should have an easy match against Tools FC at Londt Park.
