STOCK CAR RACING

THE first of six regional stock car racing events kicks off tomorrow at the Victory Raceway in Victoria Drive, with gates opening at 3pm, and racing starting at 6pm. Competing classes include developmen­t, 1660s, 2.1 modifieds, heavy metals, hot rods and American saloons. Tickets are R50 for adults and R10 for children under 13, track parking is R20 per vehicle. TRIBUTE SHOW

THE Classic Rock Show – a tribute to the legends of rock from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s and featuring Francois Hugo on vocals, Kristo Zondagh on drums, Deon Mattheus on bass, Rob Thompson on guitar and Boet Strydom – is at 8pm tomorrow at Eddie Mac’s Victoria Park Sports Club. THE Aquellé Ocean Racing Series has only two races left for the season: on Sunday March 20 and April 3, at Hobie Beach.
