Bucks at ease on cushion

BUSH Bucks, who have a threepoint lead, will retain their position at the top of the Nebfa Sedgars premier soccer league even if they lose to Roaring Tigers at the Chevrolet Stadium on Sunday.

Last week, Bucks edged out closest rivals Red City 1-0, and beat Boast Pirates 3-1 to soar to the top of the log.

Tigers, who are midway on the log, are 21 points behind Bucks.

City face a potentiall­y tough match against Stinging Bees, who are in fifth position.

PE Sundowns should retain second place with ease when they play City Defenders tomorrow.

Defenders are two places from the bottom of the log.
