Polokwane hope to sign striker

-

POLOKWANE City coach Luc Eymael is hoping to get the go-ahead from club chairman Johnny Mogaladi to sign Belgian forward Christophe Martín-Suárez tomorrow.

The 26-year-old has been on trial at the Limpopo club for the last few weeks and Eymael wants to bring him on board‚ having said he wanted to buy a tall striker and a versatile midfielder.

City play a friendly match against Orlando Pirates today and Eymael revealed that he will meet with the club’s top-brass tomorrow and push to sign Martín-Suárez.

“He is a very good player‚ a very technical player‚” Eymael said.

“He comes from the second division in Belgium‚ which is not like the second division here in SA.

“He has done very well‚ the only thing he has struggled with are the pitches we have trained and played on while he has been with us.” – Nick Said
