A WALMER Township teacher who helped children with schoolwork was killed (“Walmer township on edge after ex-teacher’s murder”, March 14). The question is why, when he was doing so much good. May he rest in peace.

WHEN Fica was announced, I presumed it would be a way to control any irregular large amounts of money being deposited into bank accounts. I wonder how many checks and balances were carried out.

WE are currently governed by the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces. In the light of recent revelations by Jacob Zuma (“ANC Bay election exposes cracks”, March 13), should we not amend the constitution to include a National Council of Ancestors?
