FIGHTING IN THE COALITION

COUNCIL meeting (“Peace deal teeters”, May 24): Athol Trollip will always be a problem to the DA. Both Mongameli Bobani and Trollip should be removed so that we can have stability at the meetings. Trollip is well known for his bullish behaviour.

RATEPAYER

A NOTE to Athol Trollip and Mongameli Bobani: grow up, put aside differences, and do the job you were elected to and well paid for.

PAUL WATTS HOW much longer will the “feud” between Athol Trollip and Mongameli Bobani last? If it’s not one thing, it is another . . . then they both get reported to their headmasters and they have to fly to Pretoria or CT to explain! The coalition is only just working, but it is in both parties’ interest (and the people of PE) that this continues. The alternative will be to renew rivalries with the ANC, EFF, and Uncle Tom Cobley and all! How long will this take and what chaos in the meantime? Come on guys, sort yourselves out.
