REFUSE REMOVAL

THE municipality temporary garbage collection truck accompanied by a supervisor came around Greenacres villages on Tuesday night at 7. In light of the difficulty they had to have access to the bins, I would like to list the names, cell numbers and e-mail addresses of the chairman/trustee of Greenacres villages should this kind of problem occur again. The citizens should play their parts to help. Please contact me at 073-160-2479.

TO those who continually moan when refuse is not collected for a few days, let’s put this into perspective. Someone on Tuesday night and yesterday would have lost his or her house, and or have had his or her car and possessions destroyed by the bad weather. My suggestion is that these moaners stop sweating the small things and get a life.

PUT SOMETHING HAPPY IN PAPER

I WAS chatting to a woman the other day who said she refused to buy the newspaper anymore as all the negativity just upset her too much. Please could you make a resolution to have something happy and positive on every front page? Children, animals and laughter will be a good start.
