‘A NIGHT AT THE OPERA’

THE PE Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents A Night at the Opera at 7pm tonight and tomorrow at the Savoy Theatre. Liske Hemingway directs and will sing, along with her sister Lara Potgieter, Khuselo Gqiba, Ann Yates, Karika le Roux, Kelly le Roux, Khululekan­i Tose and Unathi Lubambo. CONTEMPORA­RY CRAFT

ARTISTS and crafters Melanie Hillebrand, Lisa Walker, Linda Reynolds, Shelley-Anne Graham, Heather Mirams and Aneesa Loonat are participat­ing in a contempora­ry craft exhibition at Art on Target, 2 Target Kloof, Essexvale, until Saturday. Ceramics, glass, textiles and jewellery are included, and work is available for purchase. Hours are 9am to 4pm today and tomorrow, and 9am to 1pm on Saturday. FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY

FOOD Truck Friday will celebrate its first birthday tomorrow from 4pm to 9pm, at WERK_ in Baakens Valley. Pop-funk R & B duo Easy Freak and other artists will perform.
