Leo Zodiac the PA banker at Fairview

-

WITH the trickiest card seen at Fairview in several weeks, the Place Accumulator appears the way to go on the turf track tomorrow.

With several runners in each race claiming a money chance, the exotic is set for a decent dividend. PA bankers seem to be scarce but Leo Zodiac could come to the party in Race 9, the final leg, over 1200m.

Formerly trained by Geoff Woodruff Leo Zodiac ran an impressive third behind Kimber Club last time. On that occasion he finished third, only 1.35 lengths behind the winner after running on strongly over the final 200m.

It was a much improved last run and he should find strong betting support.

Imperial Guard, Lord Windermere and Flight Captain should see punters through in a small first leg.

In the second leg Suave, Green Field and Burn Rock should start as favourites, but beware On Approval (8-1), Tombodi (16-1), Perfect Peace (8-1) and Mr Hardy (14-1).

The third leg is just as tricky, but Cape Rebel and Bollemakiesie should make a bold bid.

Race 6 should see a lot of support for Peach Delight, Beat about the bush and Star Burst Galaxy, but don’t underestimate the chances of Firstimesacharm (10-1), Wind Singer (12-1), Well In Flight (16-1) and Jo Mambo (10-1).

The main event of the day is Race 7 over 1 800m. Here Laws Of Succession, Road To Indy and Scent seem to be the strongest contenders, but look out for Inviting Lily, Arezzo and En Gee Oh.

However, it would come as a big surprise if Laws Of Succession and Road To Indy do not finish in the money.

Olympic Power, Plano and Quid Rides look solid for earning a cheque in Race 8, but Aqua Blue (7-1), Captain’s Vista (12-1), Highland Captain (11-2) and Captain Disko (22-1) all have the ability to finish in the money.

Leo Zodiac seems to have an excellent chance in the last leg, but for the Pick 6 consider Valentinik and Winter Trade who are sure to push hard for victory.

The 10-card race starts at 1210 with a Maiden Plate for fillies and mares over 1 200m.

Alan Greeff-trained Nicole and Bullion Babe, from the Gavin Smith yard, should fight out the finish.
