Need police on the beat

APART from the general level of crime throughout the country, I’m extremely concerned about our beautiful suburb, Summerstrand. A criminal’s haven it’s become! If it wasn’t for Atlas, ADT and some other private security companies, what would the level of housebreaking, murder, rape and petty crime be?

Where are the police?

I demand, a frequently used word nowadays, bobbies on the beat!

It’s our paid-for right to be protected.

We never see a patrol van, let alone foot patrols! Come on SAPS, what’s your motto? It used to be protect and serve.
