PARK will be looking to continue their unbeaten run in Eastern Cape Super 12 rugby when they take on Gardens at Uitenhage’s Derrick Ferreira Stadium tomorrow.

Park have been cruising through the tournament and have put together a four-match unbeaten run so far.

They came agonisingly close to losing their first official match of the season when they edged Star of Hope 23-22 last week.

Their fighting spirit kicked in during the dying minutes when they needed it most.

They will go into tomorrow’s clash with champions Gardens beaming with confidence at their brilliant campaign so far.

The introduction of big flank Kuhle Sonkosi came in handy for them against Star of Hope, beefing up their scrums and rolling mauls.

Park will, however, have a mountain to climb at “The Hok”, as Gardens will be looking for an emphatic victory in theirown backyard.

The Uitenhage outfit are known for their ruthless attacking instincts and confidence when running the ball.

Gardens have managed to win most of their games at home and will be looking to keep this trend going against Park.

They suffered an opening loss at the hands of Star of Hope, but have managed to dust themselves off to come back with three successive wins.

They are still contenders for the title but will need to secure a win against Park to keep alive their hopes of reaching the semifinals.

The fixture is as important to Park because they will want their hard work this season rewarded with a chance at winning some silverware.

Fixtures: Ntlaza v Breakers (Ntlaza), Gardens v Park (Derrick Ferreira A field), Swallows v EL Police (Sisa Dukashe Stadium), Berlin v Despatch (Berlin)
