Thank you for cleaning park

-

ON behalf of the residents of Woodlands and Lorraine, I would like to thank the parks department and relevant officials for the excellent job they have done in cleaning up our beautiful park .

The park is situated between Orleans Road and Circular Drive, Woodlands, and had become rundown with many alien trees dying as well as overgrown bushes and littering on a grand scale.

A meeting was facilitated with an official early in December and he arranged to bring his team in in the middle of January when all the alien vegetation was removed.

This was followed up by a major cleanup of all plastic and other trash which had accumulated in the river bed.

This beautiful parkland is once again in pristine condition, and is once again a joy to many dog walkers and nature lovers – well done to all involved!
