Part Two of When We Were There, an intimate live musical performanc­e by Joff, also known as Steven Carter, is at Remo’s Italian restaurant in Alabaster Street on Tuesday. ORGAN RECITAL

The Feather Market Organ Society hosts renowned organist Winand Grundling in a lunchhour recital at on the organ of the Feather Market Centre on Thursday. The recital starts at 1pm. R35 entry (R30 for pensioners, free for school pupils and students).

WALMER CRAFTS

The Walmer Christmas Craft Market opens at noon on Thursday and continues until Saturday at 2pm. On Thursday and Friday it is open until 7pm. The market is at Walmer Town Hall in Main Road, Walmer and also will have a tea room. Inquiries: Sheila Thysse, 082970-0731.

BOOK LAUNCH

Fogarty’s Bookshop is hosting conversati­ons with businesswo­man Nosipho SiwisaDama­sane at the launch of her book, Finding the Woman Within, on Wednesday at the GFI Art Gallery in Park Drive. The launch is at 5.30 for 6pm and tickets are R100 which includes snacks.

WESSA CLEAN-UP

Wessa’s Algoa Bay branch will clean up around Walmer High School on Saturday. The school is about 200m from the Heugh Road and Ninth Avenue Walmer intersecti­on and the cleanup will take place from 9.30 to 10.30am. The SPAR Goodnight Market is on Thursday at the Tramways Building and offers live entertainm­ent and a tasting area by TOPS at SPAR. Doors open from 5pm to 9pm and the R20 entrance fee goes to Bay charity Love Story.
