Discrimination at schools a concern

The SA Human Rights Commission says it is deeply concerned about discrimination at South African schools.

This follows allegations of racial segregation at Laerskool Schweizer-Reneke in the North West.

The commission said it was “deeply concerned that discrimination and intolerance continue in the school system”.

The commission said it would work with the department of basic education in investigating the school. –
