Protests against Sudan’s leader
Sudanese police fired teargas at crowds of antigovernment protesters in Khartoum on Sunday after organisers called for nationwide rallies against President Omar al-Bashir’s three-decade rule.
Protesters chanting “peace, peace” and “revolution is the people’s choice” took to the streets in the capital’s district Bahari.
