Thanks, Gideon, for your patience

- Anita Eke, Port Elizabeth

The “patience queue”, this is what the Walmer Post Office is called – for every day there is a long line of people waiting to renew their car licences.

However, though we may wait two hours or more, people chat and laugh, and the time passes.

I would like to commend Gideon, the gentleman who patiently wades through the queues, treating each and every one with patience and diligence.

I asked him how he copes and he said, “with a smile”.

He would just like another machine to help.

I take my hat off to him.
