Chigomarawa romps home at Metlife race

Gift Chigomarawa (Nedbank) and Thalia Slatem, racing as a temp, won the 18th Metlife Mall Valentine’s 10km race on Saturday

The race, which was an EPA participation event organised by the Achilles Athletic Club, started and ended at the Metlife Plaza in Kabega Park.

With a winning time of 32:15, Chigomarawa beat Xolisa Ndlumbini with more than half a minute to spare.

Slatem was also an easy winner, beating Kelly van Vliet by nearly four minutes.
