Councillor sworn in as Bhisho MPL

Buffalo City councillor Sindiswa Gomba was sworn in as a Bhisho MPL on Tuesday.

The vacancy in the Eastern Cape Legislature followed the resignation of former ANC MPL Thandiswa Marawu, who left the ANC to join the newly formed African Transformation Movement.

ANC chief whip Fundile Gade said Gomba had proved herself as a tried and tested ANC public representative.

“She is one of the longest-serving councillors in the Buffalo City metro.” –
