LIBRARY BOOK SALE

The Newton Park Library will hold a book sale from 10am to 4pm on Monday and Tuesday March 25 and 26.

CRAFT SALE IN LINTON GRANGE

The Friends of the Linton Grange Library will hold a craft sale at the library from 9am to 3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday March 26 and 27, with proceeds going towards buying new books for the library. Inquiries: Shantel, 041-506-4260.

MEET BOOMER

The Boardwalk is inviting children to meet the movie character Boomer, one of the stars of the new animated film, Wonder Park, at Nu Metro at The Boardwalk between 2 and 7pm on Tuesday March 26. There is no cost, and fans will be able to have their photograph­s taken with Boomer and are also encouraged to bring memorabili­a for signing.

The Union of Jewish Women is holding a charity book sale on Sunday March 31 at the Summerstra­nd Village Shopping Centre between 10am and 1pm. Please drop off donations of “gently used” books before Friday at its office at 1 Barris Walk, Glendinnin­gvale, Port Elizabeth.
