The Voetsac Hiking Club’s Groendal hike will take place on Saturday. The cost is R65. New hikers must first phone the hike leader before joining any hike.

BIRDLIFE OUTING

Birdlife Eastern Cape’s outing to Elands River Road, led by Cliff Hopkins, will take place on Saturday March 14. Meet at 6am at Pick n Pay parking, Fourth Avenue, Newton Park. Breakfast stop will be at Sand River Dam, lunch stop at Komdomo in the Baviaanskl­oof. The cost is R110 a passenger.
