All set for Zwide Easter tournament

Nearly R30,000 is up for grabs in the Zwide Easter Soccer and Netball tournament from 10 to 13 April.

The winners of the senior soccer tournament will pocket R12,000 while the runners-up will receive R5,000.

Both teams will receive a trophy and medals.

The losing semifinalists will receive R2,000 each.

In the junior section the winners and runners-up will receive kit, trophies, medals, and hampers.

The losing semifinalists will receive soccer balls.

The winners of the women’s netball tournament will receive R2,500, while the runners-up will receive R1,500.

Both teams will also receive a trophy, medals and kit.

All matches will be played at the Zwide Stadium and the Young Romans field.

Entry fee for a senior men’s team with a junior team is R600. Entry fee for a junior team without a senior team is R100.

Women’s teams will pay R300 to play in the netball tournament.
