She was a runaway winner of the Grade 2 Camellia Stakes over 1 160m in her first post-lockdown race 24 days ago, beating Schippers by 4.25 lengths.

If she comes anywhere near the form she displayed at Turffontein, she should record a fourth career victory in seven attempts.

Although only having raced six times, she is a veteran of four Class A contests.

Golden Spiral has a much more daunting task when she lines up in Race 9, a Classified Stakes for horses with nett rating of 75 and below over 1 200m.

A three-month break seems to have done this

Crusade-filly trained by Dianne Stenger the world of good. Despite a slow start, she made up lost ground and finished second behind Anne Boleyn last time out – her first run in more than three months.

With a second and third place finish over course and distance to her credit, she could well go one better today.

The main opposition is Spanish Boy, trained by Lucky Houdalakis. This Silvano gelding won on debut and was then pressed straight into Class A action, perhaps a bit optimistically.
