BONSAI MEETING

The EP Bonsai Society will meet at the Newton Park Methodist Church Hall tomorrow at 11am.

Members are asked to bring their trees along for a hands-on workshop and visitors can bring trees for advice from senior members.

RACING CHALLENGE

Victory Raceway’s 2.1 challenge regional and club championsh­ip is tomorrow at the Victoria Drive venue. Gates open at 2pm and racing starts at 5.30pm.

Competing classes are Junior Hot Rods, Pinkrods, 1660s, 2.1 Modifieds, Heavy Metals and American Saloons. Entry is R60 for adults and R20 for children under age 12. Track parking is R50 a vehicle.

BOOK FAIR

Wild Sunshine Media is hosting its Inaugural Kariega Book Fair on Sunday at the Barkly Street Theatre in Kariega.

It includes stalls where visitors can meet and greet authors and publishers; book launches; writer’s workshops, live table reads and a lucky draw.

MUSIC TRIVIA

Test your knowledge of music while having fun for a good cause at the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation’s music trivia on May 21.

ROCK FOR RHINOS

The Rhino Rock Festival in aid of the One Land Love It (Olli) foundation starts at 1pm at the Music Kitchen today.

It will feature performanc­es by Bay talents including Letters From Jane, Edward Allen, Joff and the Cults, Undead Generation, Team Sedso and The Linebacker­s, Black Velvet, Daniel Jay, and Casey Bliss.

MUSICAL SOIREE

The PE Music Society will host its Soirée Musicale at the Summerstra­nd Church, Louis Botha Crescent, on Wednesday.
