Curro Westbrook going from strength to strength

-

“Those who don’t know us, call us a school, but those who do know us, call us a family.”

The goal of Curro Westbrook is to have all of its learners become assets to their communities, and for these youngsters to step into their tertiary studies brimming with confidence and a love for learning.

From when it opened its doors in 2014, under the expert leadership of executive head Frans van der Walt, the Curro Westbrook High School has only grown from strength to strength.

It remains committed to continuing its upward trajectory with each passing year.

Curro Westbrook is an independent school in the relatively new Westbrook Estate of Gqeberha.

It accommodates children from just three months old right up to grade 12 in 2023.

The campus is developing at an excellent pace and has a current learner count of more than 700.

The first phase of the high school facility has been completed and will accommodate the continued growth in learner numbers the school has been experiencing.

Curro Westbrook currently supports grades 8 to 11, each with a maximum capacity of 25 learners per class, and the school is looking forward to extending its offering to grade 12s in 2023. The high school development will continue to support this annual growth towards becoming a “one-of-akind” high school in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro.

“We have an extensive subject offering that ensures each learner is able to pursue a path that supports their personal interests as much as possible,” a spokesperson for the school said.

“If a subject cannot be offered face-to-face, then the curriculum is further supplemented with an online subject offering that is still facilitated onsite. The enriched academic curriculum is actively supplemented by traditional sports and cultural extramurals, as well as a strong focus on the development of leadership potential in every learner.

“Our goal is to have our learners become assets to their communities and step into their tertiary studies brimming with confidence and a love for learning.

“From the moment you enter the doors at Curro Westbrook, you will feel like you are part of a warm and loving family greeted by all of our incredible staff members, especially our front-of-house receptionists and marketer, who are willing to assist with any enrolment queries.”

Parents and prospective pupils are encouraged to visit Curro Westbrook to learn more about what the school has to offer.

“Build a future with quality education.”

The school will have its open day on Saturday November 5 from 9am to 12pm, with the preschool and high school presentation at 9am, and the primary school presentation at 10:30am.
