Empowering girls to be happy and progressive in achanging society

-

Founded in 1874, Collegiate Junior School for Girls has been built on the foundations of traditions spanning more than 145 years.

The school motto is Facta non Verba — Deeds Not Words — and our vision is to maintain a caring and secure environment in which learners may develop intellectually, socially, physically, culturally, emotionally and spiritually.

We offer a rich variety of learning experiences which will develop confidence, adaptability, responsibility, respect for self and others and ultimately prepare our girls for life in an ever-changing society.

Our main aim is to provide our learners with a balanced and worthwhile education built from a rich variety of learning experiences in a friendly, caring, disciplined and secure child-centred environment. At Collegiate Junior you will find high academic standards, creative and passionate educators, the acknowledgment of pupils’ achievements both inside and outside the classroom and the promotion of confidence, adaptability, responsibility and respect for others. With a variety of extramural activities, sport, culture, the arts and community service, there are many opportunities available at Collegiate Junior School. Our learners are exposed to top notch facilities and resources and for more information on all things Collegiate, you can visit our website on www.collegiate.co.za
