COMEDY SHOW

Award-winning funnyman Rory Petzer will bring his comedy show, One Night in Gqeberha, to the city on July 14 at The Music Kitchen.

Doors open at 6pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost R150 via Quicket.

CRAFT MARKET

For something new, old, and everything craft and local, head to The Re-Seconds Market on Sunday from 9am to 2pm at the Walmer Town Hall.

JEREMY LOOPS

We Love NMB presents musical sensation Jeremy Loops at the Old Grey Sports Club on July 15 from 12pm.

The event will take place on the field and will be under cover.

It is a family event, so there will be craft and food stalls, and a large kids’ play area.

Supporting acts include The Reunion, Devon Wade and others.

There are limited tickets available through Pick n Pay and Webtickets.

Children under the age of three enter for free.

HOSPICE FUNDRAISER

Support St Francis Hospice’s gala fundraiser by attending the hilarious award-winning comedy, Boeing Boeing, on Saturday at 3pm.

Produced by Pemads, the venue is The Little Theatre in Central.

Receive a compliment­ary glass of sherry on arrival.

Tickets cost R120 a person and can be purchased from Nicole at nicole@stfrancish­ospice.za.org or 041-360-7070.

The proceeds raised from the event go towards caring for hospice patients and giving support to their families.

BRIDGE LESSONS

Learn how to play bridge or perfect your skills at the Port Elizabeth Contract Bridge Club in Albany Road from Wednesday May 31 from 2pm to 5pm.

The cost is R360 which includes six weekly theoretica­l lessons followed by practical, supervised play, as well as an introducti­on to bridge by Paul Marston.

Tea and coffee will also be served.

FOOD AND MUSIC FEST

There will be a food and music festival to raise funds for Protea House of Safety in Blackthorn­e Avenue, Forest Hill, on Saturday.

There will be food stalls, arts and crafts, and preloved goods. There will also be plenty of activities for the kids and a line-up of local musicians.

The event takes place from 12pm to 6pm and entrance is free.

The Bay’s Playground presents a Ladies Night featuring Pulse dancers.

Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 8pm at the Boardwalk Expo Centre.

Entrance is via the Boardwalk Mall.

It is for women only and no under 21s are allowed.
