BELOVED PHARMACIST RETIRES

- JADE LE ROUX

After 21 years of serving the Hilton community, pharmacist and Hilton Pharmacy owner Trish le Cordeur has retired.

“Having had the honour of being of service to residents for 21 years, I am so proud to be passing on the keys to a new generation of pharmacists,” she said.

“For the past 21 years, the community has put its faith in me and our team to deliver quality service and medical care. Thank you for giving me and our pharmacy this opportunity to serve you.”

She said she leaves with many fond memories. One in particular that stands out was watching the Rugby World Cup with her team while they worked. “I remember it being so much fun. We were all united watching a sport not all of us knew, but we shared so much laughter and joy. It remains a highlight.”

The best part of her job was being able to help and care for other people, said Le Cordeur. “It has been a passion and a privilege to serve such a graceful and resilient community. I have cherished every customer who has walked through these doors. I have seen your children grow into adults, helped your parents through some of their toughest years, and been by your side through the ups and downs.” She was looking forward, she added, to her next chapter, in which she plans to devote more time to her growing family.

“My grandchildren are so excited to spend time with their granny. I look forward to slow days, with a book and some sun. When those international borders open and it is safe to travel, I plan on being that 21-year-old adventurer again. There is so much to see.”

Here’s wishing you a happy, fulfilling retirement! You will be sorely missed, Trish!
