HILTON STEAM HERITAGE ASSOCIATION BASH
HSHA is turning 10 and to commemorate, there will be a fundraiser at the Old Railway Hilton Station on 1 May. The day starts at 9am, with artists and performers entertaining the crowds as they browse the market stalls.
Performers include Ryan Calder, Alma Flamenca, The Scotties Band as well as the Music Voyage Marimba Band. The scouts will be selling pancakes and making a difference by touching up some paintwork (and thus helping to keep our heritage alive for future generations).
Much appreciation to all sponsors including The Fatpig Smokehouse, The Leather Depot, The Station Stop Coffee Shop, The Knoll, The Moo Moo Ice Cream Shop, Wild Bread Co, Dreamy Nails, Paul Spence, The Creighton Aloe Festival, Pookylooky & Co, La Petite France, Tribe & Artisan, New Moon Financials, Dandelions, and Karkloof Canopy Tours
Entry (at the gate or phone Luanna at 083 779 7753 or email hiltonstationevents@gmail.com) is via a meal ticket at just R100, which gets you a cappuccino or soda, pork bun with coleslaw as well as an ice cream. All tickets entered into a lucky draw for prizes. Additional activities include two mystery boxes being auctioned off and vouchers for the winner of the history quiz that will be held.
A Facebook sharing post competition will enable two people to win two nights at the Knoll Guest Farm and two R150 vouchers to La Popote Cafe by following instructions on these Facebook pages: The Hilton Steam Heritage Association, The Fatpig Smokehouse and The Station Stop Coffee Shop.
