COVID-19 VACCINES AT THRIVE HILTON PHARMACY

Thrive Pharmacy is happy to be identified as a Covid-19 vaccination and assist Hilton’s elderly in getting vaccinated against Covid-19 under phase two of the Department of Health’s vaccine rollout.

Thrive Hilton Pharmacy owner Kim Germiquet said they are preparing to open their vaccination site in the Hilton Quarry parking lot in June, and are looking for volunteers to assist with data capturing when the rollout starts.

The pharmacy will be administrating Johnson & Johnson vaccines and has qualified staff who have been trained to facilitate the rollout. Thrive Hilton Pharmacy will be taking 60 to 80 people per day, and the vaccination site will be open during normal trading hours seven days a week.

Extra nurses have been employed to ensure a smooth running process. Under phase two of the Covid-19 vaccination programme, anyone over 60 qualifies for the vaccine, especially people with co-morbidities.

Germiquet encourages Hilton’s over 60s to register on the Electronic Vaccine Data System (EVDS) immediately.
