Escape to the Great Outdoors Expo
THERE is only a week left before the inaugural Great Outdoors Expo takes place at the Durban Shongweni Club, so get your tickets online before they sell out.
This expo aims to showcase new outdoor lifestyle products with innovative brands and takes place on November 17 and 18. The expo will cover various aspects of the outdoor lifestyle, from bakkies, Unimogs (multi-purpose all-wheel-drive trucks), caravans and off-road trailers, to 4x4 accessories and camping equipment, as well as boats, mountain bikes and motorbike stands.
Test your driving skills on a 4x4 course created by the KwaZulu-Natal 4WD club, or take a flip with JNC Helicopters.
For the kids, there will be an amazing “Inflatable City”, with 11 giant inflatables set up for them to go wild on.
There will also be paintball, pony rides, Xtreme Archery, and loads of flea-market stands.
The Hansa beer garden will keep you cool and hydrated, and the all-important trendy gin and cocktail bars will be ready to African News Agency (ANA) serve up the best our country has to offer.
There will be live music, and loads of craft food and tasty treats available to keep even the hungriest family member satisfied.
If that is not enough, the main stage will keep you entertained, with Gavin Ferguson playing his distinctive tunes, awardwinning hip-hop dancers West Crew will be strutting their stuff, and a Giant Hamburgereating competition will challenge the brave.
