Our promise to you over this period

AS PART of Independent Media, the Independent on Saturday is fully in support of and will do everything possible to comply with the national lockdown and the health and sanitation measures aimed at stemming the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

In everything we do we will take every care to protect you, as well as our staff and those contracted to deliver the paper, from exposure to the virus.

The lockdown has caused disruption around the country, and the Independent on Saturday is not immune.

Although we are among the essential means of keeping our readers informed of the facts of the pandemic, some shutdown conditions have necessitated changes in the way we produce your newspaper.

In view of these restrictions, our supplements will be part of the main body of the newspaper.
