Bahrain decision

BARCELONA: Formula One’s governing body is set to decide today whether to reschedule the Bahrain Grand Prix for later this season after the race was postponed following the political protests in the country. Bahrain organisers say they are ready to host the race, and the government lifted emergency rule on Wednesday. The FIA’s World Motor Council will decide on a rescheduling when it gathers in Barcelona. The season-opening race was postponed following antigovernment protests in February that eventually left at least 30 dead. – Sapa-AP
