OUR of Durban’s top talents – popular vocalists Shelley McLean and Marion Loudon, together with versatile former Tree 63 singer John Ellis and former Saint Legend bassist Lloyd de Gier – will be performing in

the supper show slotting in at Hillcrest’s Heritage Theatre soon.

The setting is intimate and unplugged as the team deliver a variety of gently rocking songs associated with the likes of U2, Fleetwood Mac, The Police, Crowded House, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Tears For Fears and Suzanne Vega, among others.

The show runs from Tuesday until October 7.

Ellis has enjoyed great success with his music locally and internatio­nally, and recently released his second solo album, while McLean, a popular star of Durban stage musicals and an accomplish­ed singerpian­ist, was seen most recently at the Kearsney College Upbeat Festival.

De Gier has featured in a number of shows at the Heritage Theatre, while Loudon was most recently seen there in the hit

supper show, and also starred in the recent Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre successes, and

The talented team switch between instrument­s and perform on guitars, keyboards and tambourine­s. They also offer a number of musical surprises and many soulful harmonies.
