Dunlop fires workers

A TOTALof 145 workers at Dunlop Belting Products in Howick, KZN, have been dismissed after striking for about six weeks, the National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa) has said.

It said the dismissals undermined the workers’ right to strike and it would work to get them reinstated. – Sapa
