100 pupils fall ill

MOREthan 100 Meyerton school children in Gauteng were treated for food poisoning after falling sick yesterday, paramedics said.

ER24 spokesman Derrick Banks said 105 children took ill with diarrhoea and vomiting. “They suspect food poisoning, but they’re not too sure what food it was,” Banks said. – Sapa
