Zuma finds Madiba in good spirits

-

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma visited Nelson Mandela at his residence in Qunu yesterday evening following his visit to Libode in the Eastern Cape to launch new schools.

The government is replacing 49 mud schools with more modern structures to improve education as part of the massive infrastructure roll-out plan.

“It is always wonderful to spend time with Madiba,” Zuma said.

“I was able to update him on what is happening in the country.

“It is wonderful to find him in good spirits and so relaxed. I assured him of the love of all South Africans.”

Zuma said Mandela was in good health and comfortable.

“And he looks as handsome as ever,” said Zuma. – Mercury Reporter
