Enforcement of bylaws inadequate

I COULDN’T agree more with Ashveer Dwarikapersadh (“Storm over outdoor adverts”, The Mercury, October 1) with regard to which bylaws are enforced and which are not.

My neighbour illegally erected a series of concrete bollards around the edge of the verge outside his property and despite numerous complaints the bollards remain.

It is only a matter of time before they cause a serious accident. RUSSELL WRIGHT
