A two-time Footballer of the Season (2007/2008 and 2008/2009), Teko Modise, has been nominated in three categories.
Modise was in his prime in those years while still playing for Orlando Pirates, and it seems the judges have noticed a glimpse of the old Modise, now turning out in Mamelodi Sundowns colours.
The awards will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre on Sunday.
