Arrest and charge the university thugs

-

IT IS high time that the criminal behaviour of the barbarian thugs masquerading as university students at the Westville campus and other campuses is punished with the strongest possible action being taken.

These unspeakable cretins should be arrested, charged and made to pay for all the damage they have wrought and then expelled for good.

We cannot allow this despicable anarchy to carry on regardless, as it is patently obvious that they, by their criminal deeds, do not have the intellectual capacity to be in places of higher learning.

It is disgraceful and shocking, and the time for the softly-softly approach by the education authorities must end.

This gang must be made an example of once and for all, so that others will think twice before engaging in similar uncivilised, unacceptable behaviour.

Just exactly where is the Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande? He is conspicuous by his absence when these troubles occur.

It is disgraceful that serious students who want to learn are being held to ransom by this Neanderthal behaviour.

If I was a parent paying large university fees I would demand that criminal charges be bought against the perpetrators of this campus unrest. Taxpayers’ money is also being flushed down the toilet with the destructive actions of these undeserving morons.

It must end by this criminal element being shown the door in no uncertain terms. M MITCHELL
