Celebrating five years of Ballito Autohaus and 36 years of success with BMW

-

THIRTY-SIX years ago, a once small dealership took a great leap and opened in a town hardly anyone knew on KZN’s beautiful north coast. With great support from the locals and much hard work, the business – known then as Umhlali BMW – has evolved, undergone a name and location change, and grown into one of the top dealerships in its category.

Dealer principal, Paul Naidoo and his team took Umhlali BMW to unexpected heights – and together they are reaching for even greater heights and achievements as Ballito Autohaus.

“At Ballito Autohaus, we understand that the key to a BMW is a promise. It’s a promise of classleading innovation, quality and premium motoring pleasure in all respects,” explains Naidoo.

It’s these qualities that drive Ballito Autohaus to the flawless performance that has earned the dealership many of BMW’s most prestigious awards for service, sales, parts and finance. “And because winning awards is not entirely new to us, you can add consistency and excellence to our list of values,” continues Naidoo.

“We are committed to maintaining honest and fair relationships with our customers and suppliers, to the continued satisfaction of all parties. We want to be better than the national average and to continually improve our performance to reach and maintain the top position in our category for our franchise.”

More than three-and-a-half decades of hard work, dedication, commitment and excellent service have seen Ballito Autohaus become a wellknown brand name in its own right and a force to be reckoned with. Catering for all customers, it offers a full range of BMWs, including BMW Premium Selection approved used cars.

Ballito Autohaus takes great pride in being a frontrunner when it comes to innovation in service. It was the first BMW dealership in KZN to implement the “future retail” concept that, among other features, enables customers to view on screen all the features and customisations added to their BMW.

On February 12, Ballito Autohaus was officially opened as an M Dealer by BMW South Africa managing director, Tim Abbott – heralding the addition of the highly sought-after M range to the dealership’s prestige stock holding.

Ballito Autohaus has built its success on a foundation of five core company values. These are employee satisfaction, mutual respect, team work, communication and HIT (honesty, integrity, trust).

Its sales executives are highly qualified to service each client’s specific needs. They have to meet all the requirements laid out by BMW South Africa, including passing their various tests and becoming internationally recognised sales executives. These tests include the history of BMW as well as an intensive product knowledge exam. Sales executives are continuously updating their product knowledge to ensure they stay in touch with all new technology and innovations.

“The most important aspect of our business is providing service excellence – and it’s no wonder that we are one of the top BMW dealers,” says Naidoo. “Over the years, we have received numerous accolades including No 1 Dealer in South Africa and the After Sales Excellence Award.

“Today, I am proud that we took what many felt was a bold decision at the time to relocate our dealership to one of the fastest growing towns in South Africa.

“We now have a state-of-the-art dealership and a commitment to service that is unrivalled.

“I have used my passion for building great relationships to ensure we have a second generation of BMW buyers who choose us.

“I am passionate about this business and am naturally proud to be associated with a premium brand like BMW – which in my opinion is the best in the world.

“We always strive to offer ‘Service with a Difference’ and invite you to discover performance in practice by visiting Ballito Autohaus,” concludes Naidoo.
