Bored Panda causes hilarity online with pointless signs

-

A COLLECTION of signs that are a complete waste of workmanship are causing hilarity online.

Photographs of the pointless placards, which state the utterly obvious, assume a certain level of stupidity from the reader.

They include a display of monkey nuts at the supermarket, which warns shoppers “this product contains peanuts”, and a toilet seat with a sticker that reads “no diving”.

The images, which have been compiled by website Bored Panda, also include a “caution fire is hot” warning and a swimming pool sign that tells patrons “do not breathe under the water”.

Road signs also appear to be a popular medium for jokers to poke fun.

Drivers on one highway, who are apparently neglecting their indicators, are sarcastically told: “It’s Columbus Day. Find your turn signal.”

While a large poster above a bridge instructs shortsighted motorists that: “If you hit this sign you will hit that bridge.”

Meanwhile, there is plenty of hilarity to be found on a simple shopping trip.

A supermarket displaying boxes of Trojan condoms on its shelves is apparently taking no chances with its eager customers. A sticker reads: “Attention: Please do not open or try on the product.”

A sex shop with a selection of adult toys felt the need to tell its mischievous clients: “Please do not hit each other with the dildo (seriously).”
