Writer Peter Stiff dies

AUTHOR and publisher Peter Stiff died on Freedom Day after a short illness.

Stiff, 82, joined the British South African Police at 18 and spent 20 years as a Rhodesian policeman. His novel Rain Goddess, about the Zimbabwean war of independence, was his life story, said his wife, Francis. – Mercury Reporter
