Low-cost airline wins Acsa award

-

LOW-COST airline FlySafair was last week given the Feather Award for Best Low Cost Carrier at Airport Company South Africa’s (Acsa’s) annual excellence awards ceremony. The awards are judged at each airport, based on a range of criteria surrounding the level of customer experience offered by airlines. “A major factor contributing to this success is FlySafair’s on-time performance record. Acsa measures every airline’s on-time performance, deeming a flight to be on time if it departs within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time – a standard international measure implemented by airports around the world.” FlySafair said it had an on-time performance record of 96.4 percent for the year. “This success is testament to our experienced team,” said FlySafair sales head Kirby Gordon. –
