Many Christians would fail DIY test

IN THE letter of December 6, Terrance Grant advocates a simple test to easily identify what it means to be a Muslim and who to deny the privilege of US citizenship.

If Terrance’s “Do It Yourself Kit” test was applied equally to all religions, it seems that many Christians would be disqualified.

Donald Trump himself would be disqualified as he proposes “awarding rights to members of one group and not to members of others”.

So would every single Jewish supporter of Israel, with its myriad of discriminatory laws.

The US Congress and Senate aid and abet Jewish-only roads and Jewish-only settlements in land regarded under international law as stolen and occupied.

If they base this support on religious grounds, then they all fall squarely in the net of the test of Terrance.

If, however, he proposes that the test be applied exclusively to Muslims, then poor Terrance also fails his own test. ASLAM MAYAT Westville
