Come Dine with Me: Supersized Series 10

30 episodes, from Friday, December 9, at 9pm on BBC Lifestyle channel 174 on DStv.

The award-winning show returns for a 10th series.

Every week five strangers take it in turns to throw a dinner party. But this is no ordinary supper – guests are secretly scoring the host and at the end of the week the top-scoring host wins £1 000 (R17 300).

This series features dog-mad executive PA JulieAnn Rayner, who hopes that her fishy “Taste of the Sea” dinner menu will have her guests hooked.

Meanwhile, personal trainer Jamie Tulloch tries to impress fellow contestant and critical teetotalle­r David Edes with his unusual dessert of berries, cream cheese and basil, and Steve Carvill dishes up home-made pasta and white chocolate panna cotta to his guests – who are expecting fast food rather than fine dining.

Filmed all over the UK, hosts from all walks of life provide astonishin­g and hilarious insights into their homes and dinner party secrets.
