Of the 149 pupils who wrote the examination, 103 achieved Bachelor passes, entitling them to do university degree courses. There were 113 subject distinctions.

Established in 1984, Kharwastan Secondary School strives to provide quality education.

It operates on the premise that a school is only as good as the teachers. And the principal, Cliffy Chetty and his staff demonstrate their support through an active commitment to the school’s vision and values.

They maintain high expectations for student success and work individually and collaboratively to create conditions that promote success.

The management, staff and the governing body congratulate all the pupils on their outstanding achievement.

“We wish our matriculants success in their future endeavours,” said Chetty.

“Success is indeed an important step towards achieving hope and ambition for the future,” he added.

Now the school is looking forward to maintaining its position of academic leadership in 2017.
